Fandom Of The Month Club March 2017 Star Trek

Star Trek is one of those series that I’ve been meaning to watch. I’ve seen a bunch of episodes here and there from years of it being around, but haven’t sat down and binged yet. I plan to.

Unfortunately, that means I’m not (yet) a hard core fan, and so this box wasn’t as exciting for me as it would perhaps be for others. However! Fandom of the Month Club has struck again with all it’s wonders and I do enjoy this box. I feel like becuase I know a lot of the story and i know the characters, I can get away with wearing some of these items. It does make me realise, however, that I really should get into it.

If you’re a Trekkie then this box should excite you. Here’s what was in it!

Stash bag, card, and magnet

Like always everything came in a super cute bag. This one says “To boldly go where no one has gone before.” The magnet this month is the most famous quote from Star Trek, ‘Live Long and Prosper’, said, of course, by Spok. The card has all the information for the box and the people who contribute items and designs etc to it.

Klingon Bat’leth Necklace

This is actually pretty cool. Typical of FOTMC to include an item from the ‘bad’ side of the story. Love it!

NCC 117 and Galileo Earrings

These are pretty cool too. I like how each of them is different. We’ve had a couple of months with mis-matched earrings, like the Super Mario Bros box.

Geordi LaForge Visor Ring

This is such a creative item! If you’re unfamiliar, Geordi LaForge is one of the characters and he has a visor over his eyes…which looks like this. Super clever! And it’s adjustable!

Hand Friendship Bracelet

Love this a lot! It reads “I have been and always shall be your friend” on it and it’s so sweet!

So that was the March 2017 Fandom of the Month Club Box! Even though I’m not a Star Trek fan, like I mentioned, it’s kicking me into gear a bit more to watch the show.
