Not only does the beginning of a new year mean resolutions are made, broken, and forgotten within in the first month, but it means we can get excited about all the new books hitting our shelves in the following 12 months.

It fascinates me just how many new books come out every year. The sheer amount of imagination and skill is phenomenal, and I’m always so impressed and excited by the authors – both new and ones I’ve read before – and their stories. Looking forward to this year and all the books that it will bring.

There are so many books that I’m looking forward to getting my hands on this year, but I thought I’d keep it to 12 for you. Most of them are sequels to series that I have either read and loved or have on my To-Read list. A couple are the beginning books in series.
