There’s nothing quite like a jewellery haul to make a girl happy.
If you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or even Facebook, then you may have seen that last weekend some friends and I headed up to Matakana, just north of Auckland, to visit the famous Saturday morning market.
And friends? It did not disappoint.
One of the stalls I was hooked by was a jewellery seller, who was doing a ‘3 for $20’ deal. You can’t just walk by a sign like that, can you? No, ma’m. It turned out that I could buy 4 pieces (rings or earrings) for just $26, so of course that meant I didn’t have to choose just 3. Brilliant. I also managed to score a beautiful necklace at the same shop, so I walked away rather pleased with my purchases.

Rings
I love this honey comb ring so much! It’s just a fun design and I’ve already had many comments on it.
Originally I picked up this mountain range ring thinking it was a tiara, but I rather like the mountains anyway. It’s quite nice actually. There are no mountain ranges in view from where I live in Auckland, but I grew up with mountains surrounding my home town. It’s like a little piece of home on my finger.
The leaves are super pretty and I like how they wrap around with a big one and a smaller one.

Earrings
Mountain earrings to match my not-a-tiara mountain ring. These are super sweet.

Feather necklace
This colour is so pretty! The only thing I don’t like about this necklace is the noise that the two feathers make when they collide. It was an easy fix though: a little piece of blu-tack did the trick.
A jewellery haul isn’t something I would normally share, other than each month’s Fandom of the Month Club Box, but I especially liked what I got at the Matakana markets, so wanted to share them with you.
Had any jewellery hauls recently? What did you get?Β
