Another week, another book haul.

Do they ever end? Well, I’m headed away for 2 weeks soon, so at least that will put a damper on the book buying obsession. Hopefully.

This book haul is a mixture of opshop finds and bargain bins deals, all of which I’m so looking forward to reading. Instead of just chatting about it, let’s dive in, shall we?

Artemis Fowl and the Last Guardian, and Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox, by Eoin Colfer

Slowly, ever so slowly, I’m collecting this entire series. I loved these books as a kid, and it’s been a series I’ve been meaning to re-read for years now. I actually still haven’t read the last 2 books *gasp*, but was super pumped to find these two (books 6 and 8) in the opshop for a few dollars.

The Red Pyramid, and Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer, by Rick Riordan

While these are in two separate series, and I don’t have any others from either series, my want to read the Percy Jackson series pushed me into buying these two from a bargain bin last month. Sure, my logic isn’t that great, but just roll with it, okay? Thankfully these are both the first in Riordan’s other series, so at lease that makes sense.

Stealing Snow, by Danielle Paige

I haven’t finished the Dorothy Must Die series by Paige yet, but I love the re-telling of fairy tales. Hopefully I’ll get around to reading this one soon.

The Crown’s Game, by Evelyn Skye

This has been on my radar for a while now, so when I saw it in the bargain bin I snatched it up. Looking forward to eventually getting into this one.

Bitterblue, by Kristin Cashore

I loved the first book in this series, Graceling, and while the second didn’t really grab my attention as much as the first, I hope for greater things out of this, the third. I tihnk the trouble with these books is that they jump generations, and main characters, and I really liked the MC in Graceling. Hopefully Bitterblue is good, and if not, it was only $2 from the opshop.
