Jeepers, there are some cool bookish items at Literary Book Gifts.
When Melissa at Literary Book Gifts got in touch with me to draw my attention to her recently launched website, one look at the name and I was intrigued. Here’s what she says about Literary Book Gifts:
I launched Literary Book Gifts just this year as an online store devoted to creating t-shirts and bags for book lovers everywhere. I created this company and all the designs in it because I love the authenticity of vintage book covers and I thought they would make for amazing gifts.
Vintage book covers? T-shirts and bags? Count me in. Heading immediately over to the site, I was greeted by a range of brilliant designs of classic novels printed on t-shirts, tote bags and backpacks with laptop sleeves.
With the offer of a discounted item in exchange for a review on the table, it was one I was definitely willing to take up. Living in New Zealand means I always have to take into consideration the shipping prices of an item if its coming from overseas. Even with a lovely discount, I opted for the cheapest of the three options: the tote bag. One can never have too many tote bags.
The tote bag decision
But which tote bag to choose? Would it be an Alice in Wonderland tote, the story which I love and own multiple copies of? Or perhaps Plato, in reference to my Philosophy degree? Perhaps it would be Les Miserable, a nod to my love of musical theatre, or even Sherlock for a lifelong obsession to all things Holmes and Watson.

I eventually landed on this brilliant navy Jane Austen tote, and I do not regret my decision in the slightest. It is a lot bigger than I was expecting (even though there’s three size options and a measurement chart), and it’s of seemingly quite high quality canvas. It’s looks quite well made, with only the odd thread here and there poking out (which I tucked away nicely, or snipped), and the straps seem sturdy. I’m confident that I can carry multiple books in it without it straining too much.
Here are some of my other faves from Literary Book Gifts:

- The Grimms’ Fairy Tales V-Neck T-Shirt
- Cinderella Hoodie
- Peter Rabbit T-Shirt
- Alice in Wonderland Tote Bag
- The Garden Party Backpack
- Peter Rabbit Tote Bag

This is a sponsored post. While Literary Book Gifts offered me a discounted item and asked me for a review, I paid for it myself. My review is in no way impacted by this discount, and all opinions are my own.
