I started a new thing here on the blog. A new ‘thing’. Fantastic descriptive, creative writing skills there, Anjali. Well done. Anyway, I mentioned in the previous (and first) one that I loved doing my nails in crazy ways, but lately I haven’t had much motivation to do them, or I can’t think of my anything exciting to put on them. And I also realised how cool my book covers were. So I’m joining the two together!
For today’s Book Cover Nails, I did ones that were inspired by Attachments, by Rainbow Rowell. I love the cover of this book! It’s so sweet! I love the colours and the white and black images on top. I tried to match up the colours, but I think only the pink turned out to be a good match. Hopefully you can tell (though maybe you can’t because they’re not very good *rolls eyes*), but I did a little table with a vase on it on the thumb (like the one in the middle teal section on the cover), and a filing cabinet on the ring finger. The rest of the random wonky squares were supposed to be flying bits of paper, but they kind of just look like…well like wonky squares.

As you can see, I did the word ‘Attachments’ on my right hand because there was no way I was going to try and draw tiny coffee tables with my left hand. A little bit average in quality, but they’re kind fun anyway. I didn’t actually have these on for very long, but they did make me happy. All those bright colours!
