Book Haul #16…

One weekend there was a book fair. One book-loving girl went along…twice. One wallet was emptied. Forty-three books were purchased. Three bookshelves were filled. One bibliophile was way too excited for her own good. She wanted to share her book finds with all her bloggy friends. So she created six different book haul posts to add to the 11 she had already posted. Everyone was happy. Read more about it all here.

I don’t really know what to say any more in these little introductions, except that I love books. That’s pretty much it. Though in case you’re wondering if I have an endless supply of material for the backgrounds that I use in these posts, I don’t. I have some, but a lot of the time I’ll use scarves or dresses or even a duvet cover once. Anything that looks neat. Today’s book haul is actually on a background of a skirt I have. It’s quite cool, though I feel it’s more of a dress-up party kind of skirt, so I don’t wear that often. Anyway…

Slaves of Mastery, and Firesong, by William Nicholson
I bought the first one of this series a little while ago, so when I saw the second and third I was rather excited. I have yet to read the first one, but when I do, it’s great ot know I have the rest of the series ready and waiting.

The Old Kingdom Chronicles, by Garth Nix
I’ve been meaning to check out this series for a while now, and I had found the first and second one at the book fair, for $2 each, and then I found the entire series in a single book for only $3. So yes, I went for that option. Yes, it’s a gigantic book.

Inheritance, by Christopher Paolini
I loved the first two books in this series (Eragon, and Eldest), and while I haven’t read the third one yet (Brsingr), I do actually have it, as I bought it in England at a charity store. That was actually, a aprt of the very first book haul on the blog.

The Karazan Quartet, by V.M. Jones
These books are super neat. I remember reading them as a young teen and loving them. I will definitely be reading these ones again. I’m just super excited that I managed to find all four in the series within a table from each other. Score!
