I don’t know about you, but I like to be super organised when it comes to Christmas gifts. Or any type of gift, really! I like to have all my Christmas shopping done and dusted by the end of November (or earlier!), so I can avoid the rush, and not think about it during the busiest time of the year.
Most years I know what I’m going to get to create for people on my list, but there was a point where I didn’t know what to get my blogging friends for Christmas or other celebrations. So I’ve been thinking about things that might be useful for them as they go into a new year with their blogs.
This is by no means a complete list – and if you have something else that might be a good idea for a Christmas gift for bloggers, let me know! – but I hope that they give you some ideas as to what you might get the blogger in your life this Christmas.
In this list, I’ve broken it up into digital items, tech items and physical/tangible items.
Digital gifts for bloggers
You might have to think a little outside the box to be able to gift some of these digital items, but they’re all great options!
Blog hosting
Why not gift them the equivalent to a month of hosting? Or 6months if you’re feeling generous. As bloggers, we often have expenses that are digital, one being paying for our hosting. This is a great way to tell your blogging friends that you recognise the work they’re putting in and you’d like to help them out.
You could make a voucher on Canva and present it to them, and then get the details from them later if you need to.
Resources to help them blog
Whether it be a course, or a digital tool … resources like this can be so beneficial, especially if you’re starting out as a blogger. If you know they have a bit of a wish-list doing of resources they’d love to buy one day, or courses they’ve mentioned, why not see if you can get it for them?
Or, go down the voucher route again, and say that you’ll pay for it if they show you which one they’re thinking of.
Blogger’s Content Planner
Speaking of resources and tools – you could specifically grab them a planner for the following year. This is going to set them up so well for the upcoming year/quarter and will allow them to plan ahead super easily.
I absolutely love having a Google Sheets content planner – it makes it really easy to use on the go, colour code different items, sync with other Google Suite things and more.
Subscriptions
I have quite a few subscriptions that I pay for each month and year. Canva for design, Metricool for social media scheduling, Tailwind for Pinterest scheduling and management, Descript for videos …
A great Christmas gift for me as a blogger would be a month of one of my subs paid for. You’d need to liaise with your blogging friend/family member beforehand, but it would absolutely work.
Alternatively, if they’ve been thinking about signing up to a tool or subscription, but haven’t done it, offer to pay for their first month so they can get a really good feel for it before committing fully to it. Lots of options here!
Membership to a blogging community
I’d be lost without a blogging community. There are lots of free ones out there, yes, but the 1:1 support that you get as a blogger in a membership can be really helpful to get personalised advice and recommendations. You could gift a month or two of a blogging membership like The Blogging Room to your blogging friend. We’d love to have them.
Tech gifts for bloggers
When I say ‘tech’ here, I mean anything to do with your blogging set-up.
Ring light
I have a ring light phone stand which is so handy! It’s a tall one which means I can use it as a tri pod (more on that below), but the ring light is perfect for giving some more light to a space (funny that), and also for taking photos. There are also desk ones which are brilliant, too.
Tripod
Speaking of stands, a tripod for a phone is also a really helpful tech-ish tool to have available as a blogger, especially if you’re creating social media content, too. And even if you’re not, I like to have my phone on a tripod sometimes if I need another screen, or just to keep it in view.
New computer/laptop items
I’m thinking keyboard, mouse, headphones, a laptop stand – anything that your blogging friend/family member might need an upgrade of that is to do with their laptop or computer.
I bought a new external keyboard to connect my laptop to, and I love it. It’s so much fun!

Blue light glasses
Maybe not tech tech, but definitely helps while using tech.
While many laptops and computers have better filters these days, it’s always nice to be able to whip out a pair of blue light filters when you need to. If your blogging friend doesn’t have a pair, this might be a really fun gift this Christmas. Think about the colours they wear and their personality, and you can find some pretty fun ones out there!
New laptop bag
Again, maybe not tech tech, but one puts tech inside a laptop bag, so I’m counting it. You’ll definitely want to check in with your gift receiver before jumping on this one, though. A laptop bag or case is one of those that might need to be rather specific. I love this bag from Mighty Ape, as it’s convertible into a backpack, messenger/should bag, and also as briefcase handles.
Physical gifts for bloggers
Cord organisers
Okay, hear me out though. I have so many cords running all over the place to and from my laptop and phone and camera and what have you, that having some cord holders or organisers would actually be so helpful for me! And if they’re helpful for me as someone who spends a lot of time around her desk, then chances are they might be helpful or the blogger in your life, too.
Stationery items
We love stationery. Whether it’s a nice set of pens, a notebook, cute sticky notes …you name it, if it falls into ‘stationery’ then I know I’ll probably want it. While blogging is a digital endeavour, I still love using paper and pen to do things like jot down ideas, write to-do lists, fill out my paper diary etc so having fun stationery items makes the task 10 times better.
Calendars
Speaking of stationery-like items, I don’t know how you like to plan out your year of blogging, but I find it super helpful to have an entire calendar dedicated to just blogging things.
I add things such as important dates I don’t want to miss, events I want to ruin, courses I’m launching, classes I’m hosting, and even things such as guest post dates. I love to be able to see the entire month ahead of me to know where I’m going.
Mugs for Bloggers
Whether they’re the kinda person who likes to sip their coffee and watch Gilmore Girls while they blog, or they’re more of a tea-and-snacks kind of blogger, a mug is a great gift for a blogger – or heck, anyone! We do love a mug.
I actually designed and printed the mug below for myself (and for a while I had a shop selling them), and I love it!

Art Prints
One of the things that I love to do is swap out the art on my walls. Whether you’re like me and you like to rotate through some of the art you have, or you like to permanently set up your walls, having artwork and prints that are specifically for bloggers is really going to spruce up your office space.
And hopefully, reminds you how awesome you are and keeps you motivated!
Tshirts for bloggers
Make them some of their own merch! I was wearing a t-shirt the other day that had the This Splendid Shambles logo on it, and my sister saw it and said ‘whaaat! you have Merch!?’ That’s the kind of reaction I love to get haha.
But in all seriousness, how fun are t-shirts?! There are some great prints out there that have been put on t-shirts for bloggers, so the choices are numerous. If you can’t find one that you love for them, why not take their blog name or logo and put it on a t-shirt or other item of clothing for them?

There are so many gifts for bloggers out there that hopefully these give you some idea as to what you could get if you’d like to help your blogging friend out!
What else could we add to this list? Feel free to drop them in the comments!
