Welcome to the BoMoSh!
If you missed last month’s post, then in short, the BoMoSh is a new post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.
Books | 3.5
- Our Dark Duet, by Victoria Schwab (review coming soon)
- Midnight Sun, by Trish Cook
- Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman (review coming soon)
- Started reading The Name of the Wind, by Patrick Ruthfuss
While I ended up enjoying Our Dark Duet, it did take me three weeks to read. Seriously. I think I hit a slump, big time. Midnight Sun, however, was read in just a day or two, and as did Good Omens. Not a huge amount of books this month, mostly due to the Our Dark Duet kerfuffle, but still, I’m happy with 3 and a bit.
Movies
This month I only watched the movies I saw on the plane to Chile. That’s it. Sad. But true. Sometimes that just happens. I do have movie vouchers at the moment though, so I must use those in the coming weeks.
Shows
This month I started watching Blindspot. I’ve been meaning to watch it ever since it came out, but just haven’t got around to it. Only up to episode 5 but really enjoying it. I also watched the first season of Lucifer, and managed to (finally!) watch Winter, Spring and Summer of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. I know, I know, it’s taken me a while to get around to it, but they’re so long! It’s like watching a full on movie as one episode.
What have you read and watched this past month?
