One weekend there was a book fair. One book-loving girl went along…twice. One wallet was emptied. Forty-three books were purchased. Three bookshelves were filled. One bibliophile was way too excited for her own good. She wanted to share her book finds with all her bloggy friends. So she created six different book haul posts to add to the 11 she had already posted. Everyone was happy. Read more about it all here

Here we are again, folks. Stepping into my book haulish ways once more. And you know what? I’m not even sorry. Here’s what I got…

The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, by J.R.R. Tolkien
While we’ve got both these books at home already, I don’t have copies of my own. I actually started grabbing the individual books of the LOTR, but then I found this chappy, and thought I’d rather pay $2 for all three than $2 for each book. Cheating the system. This copy of The Hobbit is quite good really. I picked up a few copies as I went around, filling my box (yes, I had a box), and chose the best one to buy.

The Knife of Never Letting Go, and The Ask and the Answer, by Patrick Ness
You might recall my review on TKONLG at the beginning of last year on Blogger’s Bookshelf. I really enjoyed the book, so when I saw them both sitting nicely together, I knew they were heading into my box. They are both in near-new condition. Don’t you love that?! When you find second-hand books that are in fantastic condition? Yes. Yes we do.

Stay tuned for the next book haul, next Monday!
