It’s a Harry Potter Wizard Box!

While the team over at Fandom of the Month Club have been having some troubles of late, one of the things they put together at the end of 2019 was this neat Harry Potter Wizard Box. This was a separate item to the usual subscription, and for the United States it arrived in time for Christmas. Being in New Zealand, that was not the case, however it was here on my door step when I arrived home after my summer holiday.

Some of the items in this Wizard Box are really neat, and some I will probably give away to people who will enjoy them more than me, but on the whole it was a great idea.

The Box

Who doesn’t love a trinket box? This is really neat, with Hogwarts on the top of the box and ‘Always’ written on it. It’s smaller than I was expecting, however still a really useful size for things like cards, jewellery or other small items.

Hedwig Wallet

Looking at the images posted on line from other people receiving this box, it looks like there was a few different versions of this wallet that people might get in their box. I got this Hedwig one, and while I do love Hedwig, I don’t like owls on the whole, and also won’t use this wallet. I’ll be passing it on to someone who will make better use of it.

Hogwarts Wax Seal Earrings

I really like this idea! I’m not sure that’ll wear them, however, because they’re red and I don’t really wear anything red, but I’ll keep them for costume parties I think.

Erin’s Every Flavour Soap

This is sort of a tutti frutti smelling soap, with the idea that it’s a mix of different flavours and scents like Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans (‘they mean every flavour!’). It smells quite nice – not a flavour I would usually go for – but I’ll pop it in the bathroom and see how we go.

Butterbeer Recipe Tea Towel

Or face cloth? It’s this odd size in between a face cloth and a tea towel. Great idea, but a weird size I think. It might go into the laundry cupboard for a hand towel, perhaps? Which seems odd if it’s got a recipe on it. If you see what I mean?

Accio Coffee Mug

I love this! It’s got this lovely sheen to it, and it’ll be a great addition to my ever-growing mug collection. By the looks of things, it’s not dishwasher or microwave savvy, but it’s still an excellent mug!

Elder Wand Spoon

Again, this is brilliant! I love this teaspoon a lot. Great idea, beautifully executed, and I’m excited to use it!

And that’s the Wizard Box! So a few meh things in there, but definitely some that I really like and will use.
