Fandom of the Month Club July Harry Potter

I know that I just shared a Fandom of the Month Club post, but this month I received not one box, but two! Occasionally Erin and the team at FOTMC will release a special box – a one-off box with a particular known theme that is available for purchase and is separate from the usual subscription. The ‘normal’ box this month was very appropriately theme – Hogwarts. If you’ve been living under a rock or in a submarine for the past wee while, then you’ll know that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child hit our shelves on the 31st, and with it came a flurry of Harry Potter related everything, everywhere. Including in subscription boxes. I like it how FOTMC will re-do fandoms, but they’ll be slightly different with that fandom for the theme. For example, last year there was a Harry Potter box, and then earlier this year there was a Dark Arts box, and a Snape Tribute box (which I can’t believe, but I forgot to post about! Eek!) and now this one, which is a specifically Hogwarts box.

Information card, stash bag, and magnet

I love the magnet this month! So pretty! If you can’t quite see that, that’s the Hogwarts Express. The stash bag this month reads ‘You could be great you know, it’s all here in your head’.

Hogwarts Castle Earrings

Little white-ish circular earrings with the Hogwarts caste printed on them. These are really sweet. I have so any of this style now. I’m definitely building up a collection!

Gryffindor’s Fat Lady Portrait Necklace

This actually changes when you move it. I tried to get a picture of both scenes, only half successfully. I like the idea of this, but there’s no way that I would actually wear it. I might pop it off the chain and turn it into a book mark or something like that.

Whomping Willow Ring

This is my favourite thing by far this month! Look at it! Just look at it! it’s so awesome and it’s adjustable which means I can actually wear it as a ring ring and not a midi-ring, which is what I have to do quite often with rings. So awesome!

So that’s July’s box! I don’t know what August’s box will be, as I don’t think I’ve seen any spoilers or rumours yet, but I’m excited to find out!
