While I realise we’re well into September now (seriously, what?), as you will probably be aware by now, I receive the Fandom of the Month Club Subscription box each month during the first week. It gets sent out at the end of each month, but because I live so very far away from the rest of the world I get it a little bit later. This past month I had nearly forgotten about it, until a few days before it arrived. Usually I check Instagram for what’s inside the box as soon as possible (I would rather know what I’m getting than for it to be a super surprise), but for some reasons it has slipped my mind (perhaps because not long before I received the one off Game of Thrones box).

But this month was Lord of the Rings themed, and it was pretty neat. I think I liked the last LOTR box better, but this one was still cool. Here’s what was in inside.

Stash Bag, information Card and magnet

I really like all three of these things. The card reads the usual ‘Fandom of the Month Club’ on the ring, and the bag reads ‘there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to’, which is one of my favourite quotes. The magnet this month is of Frodo and how cute is that? I’ll add it to my wall of Magnets and cards.

One Ring Earrings

Similar to the last LOTR box, there’s something One-Ring-Themed, and considering this is the main reason for the stories, it’s well suited. This time, though, they’re in the form of earrings. I don’t wear many gold things, so these might be on my earring stand for a while, or until I have another LOTR/Hobbit party or marathon.

Evenstar Bracelet

This is beautiful. My only concern is that it’ll break one day when I try and put it on. And I don’t have very chunky wrists, so we’ll see how it goes. It’s stunning though, look at it!

Compass Necklace

I like the idea that this is a compass, and reads ‘no all those who wander are lost’ (another favourite quote). I will definitely wear this one, and hope that sometime asks me wear north is.

Another fun month from FOTMC. Really like the necklace, and hopefully I’ll be able to wear the earrings at some point. I wonder what next month will be!
