In my flurry of signing up for Subscription boxes last month (or was it the month before…?), one of the ones I discovered was Pipsticks. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to try it out. I knew that I wouldn’t get it all the time, but I did want to get one to see what it was like. This one is the April envelope (I know, I’m a bit late in posting this, sorry).

Each Pipsticks packet comes with 15+ sheets of stickers, some coloured paper, and 1 blank postcard, all wrapped up in a neat little envelope. There’s a variety of different stickers that come in the (super cute) envelope, including puffy ones, old school ones, cartoon stickers, and creative stickers. There’s also a little card which talks about some of the stickers in the pack.

Pricing
For an envelope full of stickers, it’s $15 USD. Considering the amount of stickers you get, I think that’s about right, price-wise, perhaps a little over. Here in NZ you can get a pack of stickers for $2NZD, and while in a sticker pack at the shop you would probably get two sheets of stickers for each design, rather than just one, which would make this pack up to $30 worth of stickers, and then half that (because there’s only 1 sheet of stickers per design), $15.

It’s about right, though I think a bit less would be a better deal, otherwise I can just go down to the store here. Of course then there’s the added bonus that it’s a surprise and you don’t know what you’re getting…so that’s fun.

Shipping
Shipping is free within the USA (or rather, it’s included in the price), and then for international it’s only $3. That’s pretty good! It’s easier to send an envelope full of stuff than it is a box, which is brilliant.

Verdict? 
As well as all these things, you can find ideas on their website as to what you can do with your stickers, there are printables you can download to use with your stickers, and you can send a pack to someone else as a gift. They make a point of not putting in character stickers, which is fantastic if you’re scared about getting 6 sheets of Sponge Bob or you don’t like Disney (*gasp!* Who doesn’t love Disney!?). It is a very fun little subscription, and it would be especially fun if you have kids that you know love stickers. Would I get it again? No, probably not. But it was a lot of fun receiving this in the mail, knowing that it was stickers inside! Here are my favourite ones, the puffy rabbits and the cats:

It was like I was 9 years old again, taking my sticker book to school so I could share and swap stickers with my friends. Those were the days back in the 90’s where we didn’t have cell phones, or Loom Bands or {insert latest children’s craze here]. It was definitely exciting receiving it, and I will be using these guys in projects or just for popping in my diary for a bit of fun.
