Hopefully you’ve already seen my Disneyland post. We spent the Friday of our trip there, and it was amazing. I loved every second of it. While we were there, we spent a an hour so squeezing through the crowds in all the shops – literally all the shops – and I spent quite a bit of money.
Having said that, I didn’t think things were as expensive as I thought they might be. I don’t know if that’s just becuase it was Tokyo, or whether I’ve just been misinformed all my life about Disneyland, or if New Zealand is just that expensive that I don’t know what a decent price is any more.
I thought it would be fun to show you guys what I bought at Disneyland, but they’re pretty nifty things. My favourite Disney movie (other than the Lion King, of which that had zero souvenirs of) is Beauty and the Beast. But did they have things from that great film for sale? Barely. It was actually really interesting to see what was for sale, movie wise, and the things that weren’t anywhere to be found. They loved Lilo and Stich, which was interesting, because here in NZ it wasn’t really one that was that popular, at least I didn’t think so. And Snow White and Cinderlla were everywhere, as were all the ‘usual’ Disney characters – Mickey, Minnie, Goofy etc – and Frozen. But Brave was nowhere to be found, and there only a few bits and pieces of Tiana and the Princess and the Frog.
I guess it was just interesting to see what was popular over there. I struggled to find Beauty and the Beast things, so when I did find them, I bought them. Yikes. So great. Okay, no more rambling…here we go.
Blue Minnie Mouse Ears
Obviously had to get a pair of these. Jess bought red ones and we wore them around the park. I don’t even care if I never wear them again, because they’re awesome. No picture on here, but check out my Instagram image.
Belle T Shirt

I loved how I bought this. There was one that was the same style but of Snow White. Obviously I had to get the Belle one, and Jess actually got the same one. There was only one size, but it was quite large, so it could have been a dress tshirt for some, and a normal tshirt for others. I love it!
Beauty and the Beast Earrings

These were spotted on the way out of the park, at the Bon Voyage shop, which is closer to the station, and you’ve already clicked out. They are 5 different little earrings, and they’re really sweet.
Mrs. Potts and Chip Key chain/phone charm
I bought this because I’m actually thing I’ll take them off the key ring and I’ll put them on a necklace chain. So cute! I 100% forgot to take a photo of this, but this one on here is that same.
Alice in Wonderland Necklace

This is actually something I could quick easily make, and in a way it’s a bit similar to the ones I already do make, but I really liked it and hey, when in Disneyland, right?
Disney Princess Origami Dresses

I had actually completely missed these as I was walking past them, but then Roz dragged me over to make sure I saw them. It’s a pack of origami paper, but when you follow the instructions for each one, you can make a Disney Princess dress! Ohmygosh so awesome! I’m really looking forward to making these and then (obviously) hanging them up somewhere.
Cinerella Ring

They had these beautiful rings which represented about four different movies. There was Cinderella, Arial, Snow White…and possibly Tiana? Might be wrong about that last one. I would have loved a Belle one, but this was just so pretty.
I also bought my sister Minnie Mouse socks, which were Disney, and then my other sister Peter Pan/Tinkerbell earrings, which are really pretty.
So that’s my Disneyland haul!
