Looking for a positive affirmation for the day? But you’re also a new blogger? Well, you’re in the right place! In this blog post, I’m going to share 30 affirmations for new bloggers which you can say over yourself, one a day, as you set up your new blog and begin your new blogging endeavour.

But before we dive into it, what exactly IS an affirmation? You’ve probably heard the term thrown around a lot over the last decade or so (perhaps even less than that!). They’re very popular at the moment and for good reason: they can really change your outlook on your life and what you believe about who you are, the story you’re telling and living out, and how you act around others (among many other things!).

What is an affirmation?

An affirmation is a short, but powerful, sentence or declaration that you say or read over yourself or others. It is a positive statement that can help us calm our negative thoughts, recentre our focus, remember that we’re going epic things, and we totally got this.

A blogging affirmation is a short, but powerful, sentence or declaration that you can say or read over yourself to remind you that you are a kick-butt blogger who is going incredible things. A blogger affirmation can help you focus on what is important to you and your blogging space, as well as help you tackle that imposter syndrome that often some sneaking into your life.

What about affirmations for new bloggers?

Starting a blog (whether that be for the first time or you’ve had one in the past) can be a scary exercise. Exciting, but scary. I’ve been through those emotions, trust me.

There is a lot of new information out there (or new-to-you info) and it can be easy to get overwhelmed with all the things that come with the blogging space, especially if you’re a new blogger.

Having some short sentences that you can say or read when those moments of overwhelm, imposter syndrome, doubt, or anxiety creep in. They help you focus your thoughts on the plan and the road ahead, for it is paved with incredible opportunities and exciting signposts along the way.
