Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is being turned into a script book
This week it was announced that not only would Potterheads be receiving the exciting new Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script in July, and the first of the Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them movie in November, but also the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them script in book form.
In November 2016, we will be able to actually hold and read yet another book in the Wizarding World, and while it’s not a new story, it’s not quite as magical as perhaps other releases have been in the past, it’s still a fun addition to any book-lovers bookshelves.
The press release on Pottermore reads:
The published screenplay will comprise J.K. Rowling’s full script Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a feat of imagination and an exciting adventure, featuring an array of magical creatures and characters.

Some may say ‘but…why would you want the script to the movie when you can just watch the movie?’. And it’s true. This won’t be the book for everyone. I’m in two minds about it, really. While I’d love to add it to my Harry Potter collection, I don’t know that I’ll actually ever read it.
Having said that, if there’s an opportunity, a chance, a slight possibility, that there is another story, another book, that is even remotely related to the Wizarding World, then I’m all in.
Between now and November, if you’re lucky enough to have tickets, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child 2-part play shows in London in July, and for the rest of us, the script in book form is being released at the same time. Wizards and Witches around the world will no doubt be lining up to grab their copy of the book, only to do it all again in November, but not before seeing the movie.
It’s another year full of Harry Potter-related awesomeness, and my excitement levels have definitely been splinched between all of these new HP happenings.
Will you be buying the Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them script book?
