As I write this I’m wearing my awesome Stormtrooper leggings, rocking my lightsaber earrings and sporting my super cute R2-D2 necklace. Yes, it’s a Star Wars sort of day.

To celebrate this, one of the best days of the year, I thought I’d share with you some super cute cross-stitch patterns. While this sounds a little random for me, there is a bit of back story.

When I was younger, I used to be really into cross stitch, but sort of moved away from it in high school and haven’t done any since I was about 13. However recently my good friend has been working on one that reads ‘you’re a bad influence’. I think up until this year cross stitch in my mind was either cute fluffy ducks in gumboots under an umbrella or it was all flowers and poseys. But then I started seeing more and more subversive cross stitch and, more importantly, geeky ones.

Now all I want to do is buy some of these patterns and get my stitch on. But in the meantime, we’ll celebrate the day with these great patterns, most of which you can find on Etsy. Enjoy, and May the 4th be with you.
