Fandom of the Month Club Box | January 2017. Star Wars

As I was away for all of January, when I arrived home there was December’s Fandom of the Month Club box waiting for me. Because I didn’t see December’s box until so late, I had completely forgotten that January’s box was still on it’s way. It was a wonderful surprise, and even more so when I remembered it was a Star Wars box.

Despite the fact that there are beginning to be repeats in the fandoms that are sent our way each month, they are always a lot different to previous boxes of the same fandom, and they are a great range of items. The last Star Wars themed box FOTMC sent was December 2015 box. This box was quite different. Check it out.

Stash bag, info card and magnet

Notice something different? They’re updated the stash bag! I’m really excited about this! I loved the old bags, but I feel like these are going to be much more usable, as per the zips. They’re a similar size, just landscape rather than portrait, and I’m looking forward to seeing what designs they come up with this year. Love this #squad one! The info card has Han and Chewie on it, in front of the Millennium Falcon, and the magnet is of *sniff* Princess Leia *sniff*. RIP Carrie.

Wrap Bracelet with Disc

This is super cool! I really like how different this compared to all the items over the past few years. We haven’t had one like this, at least not in the time that I’ve been getting this box. It is one long strip of (probably faux) leather, with a disc on it which reads ‘The Force is strong with this one’. It does up by a little punchy mental bit on the back of the disc which goes into the holes on the other end. Super cool.

TIE Fighter Ring

Getting our Dark Side on with this guy. This is quite cool, although it doesn’t quite fit my chunky fingers (and it’s a little too chunky itself to wear as a mid-ring). I think I would have preferred it it if were an adjustable ring. However, still super neat!

Jedi Necklace

This is beautiful! I really love this, even though it’s a bit shorter than what I would usually wear. It’s so simple, but really pretty, and again, quite different to lots of other items in previous boxes.

Death Star Earrings

The other day I was in a geeky store (my favourite kind of store), and I bought a Death Star necklace. Good thing I didn’t buy the earrings! These are really cool, and I can’t wait to wear them.

So that was January’s box! I love this month’s a lot, and I’m struggling to decide between the bracelet and the necklace as my favourite thing. What do you guys think? What item is your favourite from this box?
