We can’t be in another month and not have a book haul.

I feel like it’s mandatory these days on the blog, amiright? This month’s book haul is a mixture of tomes from sale bins, and also a few from Hachette Publishing. I actually picked them all up/received them all in the space of 2 days. Yikes. Be sure to look out for the book reviews for these stories in the coming months. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to at least half of them before the year is out.

The Language of Thorns, by Leigh Bardugo

Thanks to Hachette Publishing for this stunning book! It’s so beautiful, with images throughout. I haven’t read Six of Crows books by Bardugo yet, but loved the Shadow and Bone series. Looking forward to this book so much; it’s a collection of stories from the Grisha world, so it’s bound to be amazing.

Moxie, by Jennifer Mathieu

Thanks for Hachette Publishing for this one too. Moxie seems like a really neat book about a girl kicking butt, so I’m definitely looking forward to picking this one up.

Illuminae, by Amie Kaufman and Kay Kirstoff

So I picked this one up for $5 in a sale bin, and while the format kind of freaks me out (I don’t normally enjoy books in email or text form, let alone a combination of media, documents, memos etc etc) but I’ve only heard amazing things about this book, so I’m going to give it a go.

The Glittering Court, by Richelle Mead

Again, another from the sale bin. I’ve seen it around and it’s been on my Goodreads TBR list for a while now. It was only $5 so I thought now was as good a time as any to pick it up.

Half Wild and Half Lost by Sally Green

I tried my hardest to search the bargain box these were in for matching publishers, but alas. I now have this whole series, but every book is from a different publisher, which I hate hate hate. I love my books matching, but I’d rather have the books than not. I’ll grin and bear it.
