It’s been a few months since I last did a book haul.
But here we are again. No surprises there. Over the last few months I’ve received quite a number of books from lovely publishing companies and while I have read nearly all of the books I’m about to share with you, there are a couple that I’m really looking forward to.

Almost Midnightt, by Rainbow Rowell
I picked myself up a copy of this book while I was running the mid-year giveaway, and while I haven’t read the second story in this two-story collection by Rowell, I loved Kindred Spirits.

Love Her Wild, by Atticus
Swoon worthy, poignant, and somewhat whimsical, this collection of poems by Instagram sensation Atticus is stunning. I even went ahead and pre-ordered his next compilation, The Dark Between Stars, which has just been released and I am well excited to get my copy in the mail.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, by Jenny Han
Finally got my hands on this book. I’ve only heard rave reviews about it, so I ordered this from Mighty Ape with the hopes to read it before I saw the movie. I have now done both, and both were excellent.
The Impostors, by Scott Westerfield
Really looking forward to reading another Scott Westerfield book. I remember enjoying Uglies a few years back, even though I never got round to continuing the series. Really should get onto that. But in the meantime, thanks to Allen and Unwin NZ for this review copy.

Beast: A Tale of Love and Revenge, by Lisa Jensen
This is a retelling of, yup, you guessed it, Beauty and the Beast. I have yet to pick this one up but hoping to read it soon. I received this book from Walker Books AUS.
Sea Witch, by Sarah Henning
I’ve just finished this book, so you can check out my full review of Sea Witch here. I received this one from Harper Collins NZ.

The Anger of Angels, by Sherryl Jordan
Another one from the lovely people across the ditch (Walker Books AUS), this sounds like such a neat book! It’s about a jester’s daughter, and there’s a plot to overthrow the prince … and I will let you know how it goes!
What books have you managed to haul in the past month?
