We’re here again, even though I know I shouldn’t be. However, in my defence, it’s been 2 months since the last book haul, so that’s pretty good! Today’s books are the ones I’ve hauled from the past 2 months, a lot of them I bought at the same time. Let’s just get straight to it then, shall we?

A Thousand Pieces of You, by Claudia Gray
Bought: At the book barn sale shop in New Market, Auckland
I honestly can’t remember what it it’s called, but if you’re a book lover and you live in Auckland, you probably know about this great shop. It’s just off the main road through New Market, and it sells brand new books at stupidly great prices. Books that you would normally pay $25-$30 for, you can get for $10 here. I know. How great is that? I went in a few weeks ago (back move), and bought 5 books (4 are here in this haul, and 1 was for my sister), and only 2 I hadn’t heard of. Success! Anyway, I saw A Thousand Pieces of You there and grabbed it straight away. Have been wanting to read this book for a while now, and as you read this I have actually finished reading it. You can find a review of that book here at Blogger’s Bookshelf.
Trouble is a Friend of Mine, by Stephanie Tromly
Received in: Owl Crate August 2015
I love the Owl Crate subscription box. Make sure you check out the post linked above to read all about it and how it works. I’m definitely looking forward to reading this one!
Venom, by Fiona Paul
Bought: At the book barn sale shop in New Market, Auckland
This is the book that I hadn’t heard of until I saw it. They also had the third book in this series, by not the second, so I just bought the first one. It’s a bit different to what I’ve been reading lately, but it sounds pretty great.
End Game: The Calling, by James Frey
Bought: At the book barn sale shop in New Market, Auckland
I’ve seen this so often on Good Reads, and have been meaning to get a hold of a copy. And then bam. There it was sitting in a pile at the store in New Market. Wahoo!

Fire Spell, by Laura Amy Schlitz
Bought: At the book barn sale shop in New Market, Auckland
This sounds like a interesting story, a little like Pinocchio, with marionettes, and also magic and supernatural things. I hadn’t heard of it, but it grabbed my attention (thank you, pretty cover), and it was only $7.
Queen of Shadows, by Sarah J Maas
Bought: BookTopia
Can we all just stop and have a squee that this book just came out? How much do we love Sarah J Maas and this fantastic world she’s created? A lot. Thought I have to admit, I have yet to read book 3, Heir of Fire, but I’m pumped I know have book 4 so when I read book 3, I can go straight away onto book 4. Woop woop!
A Court of Thorns and Roses, by Sarah J Maas
Bought: The Book Depository
Eep! Another series by Sarah J Maas! I haven’t read this year (catching up on some others at the moment), but I am so so so looking foward to another series by Maas. I love her books (in case you didn’t notice).

All the Bright Places, by Jennifer Niven
Bought: Paper Plus
Paper Plus was having a ‘buy one get one half price’ sale a little while ago, and so I grabbed these two books. I’ve heard great things about this book, so I’m looking forward to jumping in.
Wonder, by R.J. Palacio
Bought: Paper Plus
This book has been out for a while now, and it’s always been one that’s been on my To Be Read list. When I saw it was a part of the sale at Paper Plus, I grabbed a copy. All my friends on Good Reads who have read it have given it 4 and 5 stars, so I’m expecting it to be good!
And that’s it (for now)! I have a few books coming my way this month, and I have a Whitcoulls voucher I have to use (what a shame), so there may be another book haul this month, or early next month. Look out for that!
