book haul 59

I should probably start a new year of Book Haul posts with recent book purchases, right?

Alas, I am not. This haul is from a few months ago that I’m only sharing with you know. However! Just because I’m slack at posting about them, doesn’t mean I’m looking forward to them any less. These books that I’m about to share are titles that I picked up at the ASB 24 Hour Book Fair back in November. It’s one of my favourite times of the year, and no doubt you’ll remember me posting about it many times before today. These books are a combo of novels I’ve already read but couldn’t help but pick up my own copy for a few dollars, a couple that have been on my TBR list for a while, as well as a few authors I recognised.

Heartless by marrisa meyer

Heartless, by Marissa Meyer

I’ve already read Heartless one by Meyer, but I really enjoyed it so I added it to my pile as soon as I saw it.

Pure and Fuse by Julianna Baggot

Pure and Fuse, by Julianna Baggott

I remember reading Pure way back in England days and really enjoy the story, and it’s craziness. Check out my review to see what I mean.

Extras, Pretties and Zeroes, by Scott Westerfeld

Westerfeld writes great dystopian stories, and while I haven’t read any of these ones, I’ve read Uglies and need to keep reading the series. Recently I read Imposters, which is set in the same world, but in the future.

The Book Theif, by Markus Zusak

Hello, fantastic book. Welcome to my shelves. I read this for the first time in England, one a cold winter’s day, snuggled up in bed, leaning against the radiator for warmth. It’s funny out books will bring out memories like that. I read this beautiful book over the course of two days, and absolutely loved it. So happy I’ve added it to my collection now.

winters heart fear the lost hero

Winter’s Heart, by Robert Jordan | Fear, by Michael Grant | The Lost Hero, by Rick Riordan

Winter’s Heart is book 9 in the Wheel of Time series, and while I’ve still only read books one to four, one day I hope to read them. I’m slowly completing my collection. I only have a few left to find. Similar situation with Fear; I have about three in the series already and have added this one to their numbers. The Lost Hero is the only book in the Heroes of Olympus series I have, but like the others, I’m collecting them.
