Welcome to the BoMoSh!

If you missed last month’s post, then in short, the BoMoSh is a new post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.

Books |  9 (reviews of all of the following books coming soon!)

  • Rebel Spring, by Morgan Rhodes
  • Gathering Darkness, by Morgan Rhodes
  • Frozen Tides, by Morgan Rhodes
  • The Hazel Wood, by Melissa Albert
  • Every Day, by David Levithan
  • The Cruel Prince, by Holly Black
  • Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, by Becky Albertalli
  • Scythe, by Neil Shusterman

Woah, look at all those books! For some reason, February seems to be the month that I read the most. I have no idea why, especially considering it’s a short month. As you can see, this month I read books 2 – 5 in the Falling Kingdoms series, and I’m super looking forward to reading the final instalment, Immortal Reign.

I didn’t end up enjoying The Hazel Wood, which was a real bummer because I thought it was going to be epic. However, I loved The Cruel Prince and Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, and Every Day was really neat too. You’ll be able to find reviews for all these books coming shortly, both on This Splendid Shambles and over at Blogger’s Bookshelf.

Movies | 0

What! I know this is so shocking. I’ve said it before though, if I’m not watching a movie with friends then I probably won’t watch it by myself. There are some films at the movies currently that I’d like to see though, including Black Panther and Lady Bird.

Shows

This month I’ve been continuing on with weekly episodes of Riverdale, as well as continuing Season 1 of Nashville. I also started and finished (finally) Season 6 of Teen Wolf, and watched all of Everything Sucks on Netflix (which is way different than I thought it was going to be, but I’m enjoying it).

Next Month…

Books – Coming up in March, I hope to read Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh, and The Dangerous Art of Blending In, by Angelo Surmelis.

Movies – Though my track record for watching movies is incredibly low non-existent, I do want to see a couple of films coming to the screens in March: A Wrinkle in Time, Ready Player One, and Midnight Sun.

Shows – I really need to finish Nashville Season 1, and I believe the last few episodes of Riverdale are being released. There are a couple of series on Netflix that I want to check out the pilots for, and we’ll see if any of them interest me enough to keep watching.

Drop me a comment  if you have any suggestions for books, movies or shows, or let me know what you’ve read and watched this month!
