Welcome to the BoMoSh!
If you missed last month’s post, then in short, the BoMoSh is a new post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.
Books | 3.5
- Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman (review coming soon)
- Moxie, by Jennifer Matheiu
- The Name of the Wind, by Patrick Ruthfuss
- Started reading The Wise Man’s Fear, by Patrick Rothfuss
This month I finished my Goodreads Reading Challenge for 2017! 2 months early! I’m quite pleased with myself for that. This month I only read a few books, but 2 of them were quite large ones. The Patrick Rothfuss books I took overseas (Chile and then Canada/America), knowing that I would only need to take one book if it were a decent size. While I had started Good Omens last month, I finished it in October, as I paused it when I went to Chile. Moxie was a book from Hachette Pubslihing NZ, and it was a nice short read.
Movies
- Music and Lyrics
The only movies I watched this month were the ones I saw on the plane, and then Music and Lyrics when we had a mini gathering at my place and wanted to watch something. And that’s it. I didn’t go to the cinema this month and that’s upsetting.
TV Shows
I’ve been continuing to catch up on Grey’s Anatomy (I’m still up to Season 9 – I know!), and I’ve been watching The Good Place, too. Riverdale Season 2 began this month, which is super exciting, and I also finished Suits season 5. With the odd Black Books episode thrown in here or there for good luck, that’s been pretty much it this month! Really must watch the final episode in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. I still haven’t watched it.
What have you read and watched this month?
