One of the easiest ways you can get more mileage for your posts is by learning how to repurpose your blog posts on Instagram. And Instagram has a lot of features and types of posts you can create, which is great for us bloggers! You can create multiple Instagram posts out of your one blog post and have content for weeks on end!

Honestly. This is one of my favourite ways to create content for my Instagram account.

Repurposing is the art (for sometimes it is an art), of taking one form of content and turning it into content for other platforms. You can take the things you’ve already created in your blog posts, and look at them differently to create new posts, right across your online brand.

You can turn one blog post into multiple pieces of Instagram content, and here’s how.

10 ways to turn your blog posts into Instagram content

Create a single grid post with a summary of the blog post
Take the main points of your blog post and create a post or carousel for each point (could be 3 – 10 points, depending on the blog post)
Turn your post into a Reel – each point is a quick 1 liner on a Reel
Or take those points a create a carousel post
Record a Reel for each of the points and go into them in more detail
Create a post about WHY someone would be searching for the blog post (what questions might they enter into the search bar?)
Write a post addressing the problems that your post solves
Head onto Stories and chat about your blog posts, and add a link
Share a good one-liner from the blog post as a quote post of encouragement
Tweet about the blog post or use Threads, and then screenshot that and share it to Instagram

And this is just Instagram! With a little creative thinking, you can write a plethora of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn pieces of content from your one blog post. And how cool is that?!
