Book Haul #10…

In last week’s book haul (number 9), I mentioned that I actually had two book hauls in one day. ‘Why isn’t that just one book haul then, Anjali?’ you may ask. Well then that would be like 11 books in one haul, and I feel like that’s too much reading for you. But also because I bought 7 at the Warehouse, and 4 at the opshop, and I feel like because they’re different places and were about an hour apart, they deserved two different posts. At the local opshop (thrift store/charity shop) they have a big book section, and they have a ‘buy 4 for $10’ thing going on, which makes books $2.50 each. That’s pretty darn awesome. However, sometimes I find it hard to find 4 that I actually would like. But this time, I did!
The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks
Naw. The Notebook. I have to tell you a secret…I haven’t read this book. Shock horror, I know. I love the movie though, so when I saw this at the opshop I knew I had to get it.
A Darkness at Sethanon, by Raymond E. Feist
I said last week that I had found the second book in this series at the Warehouse, and that previously I had bought the first one (Magician) at the opshop. I was lucky enough to find both the second and third books in one day, this being the third one.
Northern Lights (Also know as The Golden Compass), by Philip Pullman
I’ve been meaning to read this book, and the series, for literally years now. It’s about time I actually opened it up and got into it. I haven’t even seen the movie either…
The Last Song, by Nicholas Sparks
Another Sparks book I haven’t read, but that I have seen the movie. I seriously love those movies. But I feel like I really need to read the books too.
