So I haven’t posted this and I was supposed to. I forgot to schedule it, so it’s now a few weeks old. And I actually have had three MORE book hauls since this one, so look out for those in the next few weeks. In the mean time, here they are! Oh, and so I’ve actually read 4 of these now…

Paper Towns, by John Green
You may remember my review a little while back. Since falling in love with The Fault in our Stars, I knew that I had to read more of John Green’s books. I did actually read Looking for Alaska back when I was about 14, but I didn’t really like it. That put me off John Green books for the next…like…8 years…but then I read TFIOS and I was turned around. I loved Paper Towns, a lot. Not quite as much as TFIOS, but it was definitely up there.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson, by John Green
Oh look, another one! Seeing as I already have TFIOS, Looking for Alaska, Let it Snow, An Abundance of Katherines, and now Paper Towns, it seemed only right that I buy this one too. Makes sense, right? Right. Looking forward to reading this one!

Eleanor and Park, by Rainbow Rowell
I bought this book from Book Depository, because I had heard so many awesome things about it, and then it was only like $9 on BD. I’m so glad I bought it, because I loved it to bits. Great great great book. You can read my review on it here.

Between the Lines, by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer
Fun fact of the day, Samantha Van Leer is Jodi Picoult’s daughter. Yup, they wrote this book together. I saw this book at the airport last month, and was gong to buy it for $20, but then I didn’t. Later the following week, I saw this version on sale for $12 in Paper Plus and it’s 10 times more beautiful that then airport version. You can see my post on this book and it’s beauty here.

Dorothy Must Die, by Danielle Page
When I saw this for only $20 in paper Plus, I grabbed it. I had heard great things about it, and it was definitely a ‘me’ kind of book. I started reading it, about a day after I bought it, and couldn’t put it down. So very cool.  You can read my review of it here.

If I Stay, by Gayle Forman
Knowing the movie was coming out at the end of August here in NZ, I bought this one from Book Depo, and read it in 2 days. It was pretty good, but not as good as I was hoping or expecting I think. Still, I will probably read it again one day, and it was only about $10. You can read my review of it here.

So that’s my most recent book haul. There will be more, no doubt, but that’s food for now.

What about you? Bought any books recently?
Which ones? Do you recommend any books?
