In a land of myth, and a time of magic … there was a Merlin themed subscription box.

And the fandom cheered. And continued to cheer.

I got to the Merlin party late. As in years and years late. As in it was only in the past year that I have watched the show and I haven’t even finished it yet. I’m up to season 4, and even my sister has passed me and finished the show.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t love it. It’s one of those shows that I knew I would love, and I was no wrong. Everything about it excites me; the myth and the legend of King Arthur, the plot lines, the characters, the costumes, the magic…Just…everything. Amazing. So, needless to say, I was well excited about this Fandom Of The Month Club Merlin box for July! Check out what was in it:

Information card, stash bag and magnet

Love the scroll on the stash bag this month. It has the intro to the episodes on it, and you can just hear the voice of the dragon reading it as you do. The magnet is perfect and it already looks great with all my others. A Merlin box can’t be complete without Arthur, and I love how he’s on the info card. If you’re not aware, the other side of this card gives the details of Fandom of the Month Club Box, and the creators behind it.

Book earrings

While I don’t know if I’ll wear these often, they are beautiful and I love the connection to books and not just the show.

Castle ring

There was a sneak peek for this ring a few months ago, with speculations as so what fandom it might be for (Cinderella or Disney was suggested by a few people), but I love that it’s in the Merlin box. This is so perfect.

 

Bangle

I was never quite sure about these bangles, but the more they’re in the FOTMC boxes the more I’m persuaded they’re awesome. This one reads ‘None of us can choose our destiny, and none of us can escape it’. The only thing I’m not loving is the dragon. Don’t get me wrong, I love dragons, but the noise it makes when it’s on here … yeah nah.

 

Excalibur in the Stone necklace

I.Love.This.Necklace. Definitely my favourite piece of the July box, and I can’t wait to wear it out and about. So pretty!

 

What a box! Definitely a favourite I think, and I’m so looking forward to wearing these.
