The Goodreads Reading Challenge 2022 is here!

It’s time to start the Goodreads Reading Challenge 2022! Another year, another reading challenge. I love setting my Goodreads reading goals for a new year, and even though it’s usually the same number of books I set myself to read each year, it’s still a great goal to set.

If you’re unaware of the challenge, it’s a very simple concept: Goodreads, the book website, lets you set a number of books each year that you’d like to read by the time December 31st rolls around. Whether you’d like to read 10 books a year or 100, you can choose whatever number you like. Then, during the year, as your finish your novels and audiobooks (or any other books that are listed on Goodreads), you pop them into Goodreads, and include the dates you read the books, and the website will log it for you.

Each book you finish goes towards your Goodreads Reading Challenge!

For 2022, my goal is going to be 50 books. Some years I’ve set it at 40, some years 60. But over the past few years, I’ve been doing a lot more work growing my blog and working on my coaching business, so it’s meant that I’ve done less reading than I perhaps have done in the past. But I’ve still managed to hit at least 50, so I still think it’s a good number to aim for.

Are you going to be doing a reading challenge in 2022?
