Last month’s theme for Fandom of the Month Club was Star Wars. The time before that (December) was Beauty and the Beast , and it was beautiful. This month, we’re continuing on with the Disney theme (which I totally approve of and endorse), with a Little Mermaid box! Now, The Little Mermaid is not a favourite Disney movie of mine. I don’t really like Ariel – seriously, what were you thinking, you child?! – but that’s a rant for another time. However! I do really like the items in this month’s box. Despite my not loving this particular Disney flick, I do like the characters, the songs, the quotes (and Prince Eric – swoon), and it’s Disney, so it’s automatically going to win me over.

Bag, Information Card, and Magnet

I love the bag! It’s so beautifully designed, and it’s perfect for the kind of ‘stuff’ I will most likely carry around in it. The magnet is of the greatest flounder fish of all time, Flounder, and it’s perfect. A lovely Disney addition to my growing wall of FOTMC magnets. The information card, which just has the details of the subscription box on the other side, reads Fandom of the Month Club Member on it, like usual, and has Ariel herself with Flounder, too.

Ursula Choker Necklace

Now I doubt I will ever ever wear this but there’s no way I’m giving it away. I now need to go to a dress up party as Ursula because this is perfect in every way. Despite me not wearing it in day-to-day life, I actually love it.

Charm Bracelet

This sweet charm bracelet has a ship, some coloured beads, a fork (you can get a bottle necklace with this style of fork from my shop), a disc that reads ‘Part of Your World’ and also a mermaid, of course. This is very sweet.

Shell earrings

These are really neat. There’s a pair of purple shells, and then a pair of inside-shell earrings. Super cute. Looking forward to wearing these!

Tentacle Ring

Okay. This is my favourite thing ever. I love love love this ring! And I’m super excited about it because it’s also one that actually fits me. The last ring was the cool TIE fighter ring in the Star Wars box, but it’s not adjustable so it doesn’t fit my chunky fingers. But this tentacle ring – it’s amazing. I’m wearing it right now and I might not ever take it off. While it seems to be adjustable, I didn’t need to change the size at, which I’m super pleased about.

Another great box from Fandom of the Month Club. My favourite this month is definitely the tentacle ring, but all the pieces are really neat! Love the Disney theme! Erin (who’s the box creator) said in a recent Instagram post that she’s working on some ideas for a Zelda, Jurassic park, Merlin, The Princess Bride, and Broadway boxes. I just saw a sneak peek for a potential Pirates of the Caribbean piece. Oh man. They would be so so neat!

Did you get this box this month? What’s your favourite piece?
