Quick, Funky Addition to a Jar or Vase – This is a really simple way to sprucing up a jar or vase of flowers. Of course, you don’t have to put flower in a vase, but because that’s the norm, we’re sticking with that for now. All you need other than your vase or jar, and what you’re planning to put in it, is pebbles or little stones. I got these pink stones just from a cheap crafty store here in Auckland called Look Sharp. If you haven’t been there before, I recommend checking it out!
All I did here was tip some of the stones into the bottom of my jar and then added the flowers and the fern fronds. The advantage with stones in the bottom of a vase is that you still pour water in there and keep the flowers alive for a while longer, and the stones are still there at the bottom.
Super simple, but I think it looks really neat and it gives a little more character to the jar.
