10 TV and Movie Soundtracks That I Love…

You’ve probably realised by now that I love movies and TV shows…and I also love music. So why not join the two together? Today I give you 10 TV and Movie Soundtracks that I love (from the TV shows and movies that I’ve seen. obviously…I’m sure there will be future movies and shows that I can add to this…). Bare in mind  that I haven’t included musicals…let’s do that another day.
In no particular order:

Juno (2007)

These are just the cutest.songs.ever. Seriously, you can’t listen to ‘Anyone Else But You’ without going ‘awwwwww!!!’.

 

 

 

 

 

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008)

I adore this soundtrack. It’s amazing. It just has a great range of songs, a lot of which I hadn’t heard before I saw the movie (and loved it…). This is definitely an album I could listen to all day.

 

 

 

 

What a Girl Wants (2003)

I love the miss-matched genres in this soundtracks. It’s great! It’s dancey, it’s old, it’s new, it’s soft and romantic, it’s crazy and has a whole bunch of attitude (I’m looking at you ‘I wanna be bad‘ and ‘Who invited you?‘).

 

 

 

 

All 60s music anyone? Yes please! I wasn’t around for the 60s (that would make me my parents’ age…which would be weird in itself), but I do love a good boogy to some funky music…which is exactly what this soundtrack is. Great movie too.

 

 

 

 

 

The Vampire Diaries (2009 – present)

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: amazing music. So much of the music I listen to these days is because I’ve heard a song on this amazing show and thought ‘hey! Cool song. Who is that by?’ and a little Google and a YouTube later, voilà! new music. I’m excited that the new season has just started…more music!
I have every song from every episode of this show. That’s how much I love it. Sad, but true.

 

 

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

Bring back the 90s! Every song on this album makes me smile. Especially ‘One Week’ by the Bare Naked Ladies. There’s a high possibility that I know all the words…

 

 

 

 

 

500 Days of Summer (2009)

I know that the music in a movie IS supposed to match the movie, coz that’s the point of a soundtrack, but this soundtrack is just as random as the movie, and I think that’s why I love it. I also love how Zooey Dechannel features. She’s the bees’ knees (that’s right…all the bees’ knees).

 

 

 

 

Grey’s Anatomy (2003 – Present)

Everytime I here ‘Chasing Cars’ by Snow Patrol I think of Denny’s death and it’s just so freakin depressing. But such good music! Like The O.C I only own the volume 1 album, but I would love to have all the others!
