A little while ago we talked about the (then) recently released teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which will hit our cinemas later this year. I feel like this whole Fantastic Beasts journey is one of buildin excitement. I was excited when they announced they were making a movie, then more excited when we found out it was going to be not one but three movies…and then a teaser trailer, and the announcement that, like The Cursed Child, we would be getting the movie’s script in book form. And now, dear friends, we have a full length trailer which was shown at Comic Con a few days ago.
Here’s the trailer if you haven’t seen it yet:
Wow. Just wow. I don’t know about you but I’m feeling 22 I’m so super excited about this. With the teaser, they really did tease us, and we had to make guesses about what the movie’s plot line was going to be like. Well, we can guess no longer! By the sounds of things, Newt Scamander heads to New York, with his suitcase of magical creatures, and some of them get out and reek havoc on the city. The secrets of the magical world start getting out, and Newt has to round up all the creatures to keep them safe from the humans.
In this new trailer, we not only get more of a plot line, but we’re seeing some more characters, and getting a glimpse at the magical world in the 20s. There’s a sneak peek of a house elf in there as well, which just made me sad about Dobby all over again. Nevertheless, this trailer has once again upped my excitement about November, and I can’t wait to see it!
What about you? Seen the trailer? Love it? A bit apprehensive? Let me know!
