Book Haul 41It’s been nearly 3 months since my last book haul, and in that one I talked about how I was trying to cut back on buying books this year in favour of reading the ones I already owned.

It’s mostly been successful. Or rather, I thought it had. When I realised I had books that I hadn’t shared with you guys yet, I gathered them together and discovered that actually there were quite a few. Enough for 2 possibly 3 book haul posts. That’s not cutting back.

However! In my own defense, quite a few books have been review books from the lovely people at Hachette Publishing NZ, and a couple have been on sale for so cheap that there was no way any sane person would just walk by them. Back me up here.

Enough of me trying to justify my book obsession. Here’s some of what I’ve hauled in the last 3 months.

Strange the Dreamer, by Laini Taylor

Got this beautiful book from Hachette Publishing NZ, and it’s one of my favourite books of the year. You can read my review of it here. So good. I highly recommend it and you should read it.

Book Haul 41

Carve the Mark, by Veronica Roth

Secret time: I still haven’t read this year. It’s been sitting on my shelf for a month now and nope. Haven’t read it yet. But I’m really looking forward to it.

Book Haul 41

King’s Cage, by Victoria Aveyard

The third book in the Red Queen series, Hachette Publishing NZ sent me this one too, and it was a really good addition to the series. You can read my review of King’s Cage here.

Book Haul 41

Fame in the Mist, by Renee Ahdieh

As you can see by the little note at the bottom of the book, this is an ‘uncorrected proof copy’. Thanks again to Hachette for this one. I’m currently reading this so i’ll let you know how it goes!

I’d like to say that that’s it for book hauls for a little while, but I literally have two scheduled in a few weeks. Don’t judge me.

Have you read any of these books? Hauled any books lately?
