Welcome to the BoMoSh!
If you missed last month’s post, then in short, the BoMoSh is a new post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.
Books | 3
- When Dimple Met Rishi, by Sandhya Menon
- The Wish Grante, C.J. Redwine
- The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, by Mackenzi Lee (review coming soon!)
I also started Everybody Hurts by Joanna Nadin and Anthony McGowan. Despite 3 books in a month isn’t that great for me, I’m rather pleased because I was super busy and also spent a good deal of time away at the beginning of the month with very limited reading time. Maybe August I can do 4.
Movies | 2
- Cloudy With a Change of Meatballs
- Spiderman: Homecoming
Cloudy is one of those movies that is highly underrated. If you haven’t seen it, then it’s such a great kids movie (which adults will also enjoy, obviously), and I feel like not many people have actually seen it. The other movie I watched this month was Spiderman: Homecoming. And guys…it was good. I don’t think I’ve laughed that much in a Marvel film in a little while now. Tom Holland is such a great actor and it was definitely a fun new take on the Spiderman we have had so much of over the years.
Shows
Three words: Game.Of.Thrones. Amiright? Who else was excited about the premiere of the final season? Definitely going to be a great season if the first 3 episodes are anything to go by. Other than GoT, I watched Season 2 of Humans (good show, would recommend), as well as continuing my re-watch of Parks and Recreation. I’ve also been keeping up with Shadowhunters, and have been thinking I need to watch Season 5 Suits. Maybe August.
What have you read and watched this past month?
