Welcome to the BoMoSh!
The BoMoSh is a post for Books, Movies and Shows, a post where I share what I’ve read and seen in the last month. I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies, so leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.
Books | 6
- Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell and Faith Erin Hicks
- The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
- The Hawthorn Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
- Rule of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo
- Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber
- Defy the Night by Brigid Kemmerer
I am well pleased with my book reading efforts this month! Thanks to being in Lockdown for a second full month in a row, it’s made for some excellent reading. I actually started reading Atomic Habits by James Clear as well and picked up A Botanist’s Guide to Parties and Poisons by Kate Khavari thanks to Netgalley, too. But I’ll finish those in November.
Pumpkinheads was my annual re-read in October (such a great book!), and I read both Barnes books over the weekend a few weeks back. Absolutely loved them and now I’m sad I have to wait so long for the final book!
Movies
I think the only movie I watched this month was Luca, the Disney movie. And that’s it!
Shows
Shows on the other hand! As a Lockdown bubble, we watched all of Parks and Recreation in the past month and a half (they hadn’t seen it), and then we started on Ted Lasso. We’re nearly finished that too, so thinking of something else to watch together. Taking suggestions!
And that was the BoMoSh for October! What have you read and watched this past month?
