And so we’re back (from outer space)! The last book haul was way back in January, and since then Mondays here on the blog have been filled with book the Rainbow Books Series, and more recently, the Book Spine Poetry series, both of which were very fun to put together. In the 5 months that I haven’t shared a book haul, books have stilled been hauled. Some have been bought online, some in sale bins, some at full price, and some from opshops. But enough about that, here’s today’s haul!

Choose Your Own Autobiography, by Neil Patrick Harris

As soon as I saw this, I had to buy it. If anyone was going to write an autobiography where the reader gets to choose where they go, it would be NPH. Seriously. I have yet to read this yet, but looking forward to it!

Atlantia, by Ally Condie

Bought this one at the same time as Choose Your Own Autobiography. Because I really liked the Matched Series by Condie, I thought I’d give her other book a go. It wasn’t as good, but you can read my review here.

Arise, by Tara Hudson

You know what I hate? The one thing that annoys me the most about books? When they don’t put anything on the cover or the inside of a book to indicate that it’s a part of a series. This book, ladies and gents, is book 2. Do I have book 1? No. No I don’t. However, I will make sure that I read the first one first…And then perhaps send a letter to the publishing company. Seriously. There was nothing. No.Thing.

Darkness, Be My Friend
Burning for Revenge
The Night is For Hunting
The Other Side of Dawn, by James Marsden

I love this series. We read the first book, Tomorrow When the War Began, in high school and then I read the rest of them and really loved them. I’ve been after this complete series for ages now, but in the same publisher as the one that my friend gave me (yes, I like my books to look the same when they’re in a series)…so when I saw these 4 books sitting on the sale table at Whitcoulls, I snatched them up. No I just need books 2 and 3 to complete the set. Feel free to send them to me. 🙂

Myrren’s Gift, by Fiona McIntosh

I hadn’t actually ever heard of this, but when I saw it and read the back it sounded cool, and I haven’t read a good long fantasy book in a long time. Okay, so I haven’t actually even read this one yet, but I have it now, and one day I will read it.

And that’s a wrap (or a rap…depending on how you read this post). Next week I have another book haul for you, so stay tuned for that!

Bought any books recently?
