The BoMoSh August 1

Welcome to the BoMoSh!

The BoMoSh is a post for Books, Movies and Shows, a post where I share what I’ve read and seen in the last month. I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies, so leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.

Books | 9.5

I am well impressed at my 9.5 books this month! You’ll notice that the majority are actually audio and graphic novels, which means they were small and quick to get through … and while that does make the list slightly skewed, they still count. I’m still counting them. Fight me.

I read 4 books that are part of the series this month, 2 of which are the first in the series (or duology) – The Archived and King of Scars – and the other 2 are either part way through a series (The Box In the Woods – I believe there will be another on even though this is book 4), and also Any Way the Wind Blows, which is the final in the Simon Snow series by Rainbow Rowell.

It was a joy diving back in the Grishaverse with King of Scars, as I re-read it in anticipation of reading the second in the duology, Rule of Wolves. Review will be up when I’ve finished reading it!

Remember you can follow along with my reading adventures on Goodreads!

Movies | 3

  • Yogi Bear
  • The Emperor’s New Groove
  • Inception

Despite being in lockdown for the second half of this month, I still haven’t watched that many movies. But I suspect that’ll change if we’re in lockdown for longer!

Shows

I’ve barely watched anything this month! I’ve been trucking away at Friends (up to the final season of my re-watch!), as well as watching Roswell: New Mexico as it’s released each week. But other than that? Basically nothing!

What have you read and watched this past month?
