Ready to visit Dunedin, New Zealand?

The last weekend of November I spent in Christchurch and in Dunedin, which, for those of you non-New Zealanders, is in the south island of this beautiful country. We flew down on Thursday to Christchurch, and then to Dunedin on Saturday. I returned to Auckland on Sunday evening, but on Sunday afternoon my friend was kind enough to show me around his city. I hadn’t been to Dunedin as an adult before, only when I was very young and I don’t really remember it. It was really nice to be able to visit Dunedin and have a short look around the city.

I thought today I just show you some of the photos I took from my brief visit. My friend took me to the railway station, which is very famous and is this stunning building. We also headed along to a boardwalk type thing, had ice cream and got splashed by the waves. Just before we headed back to the airport, we drove up a hill and saw this amazing view of Dunedin, which is the last picture you’ll see.

That was my time in Dunedin! Like I said, I’d love to head back there one day, for a longer trip perhaps. I was born way down in the south, further south than Dunedin, so I feel like I should know the area better. I don’t. I need to. Right?
