A few weeks ago, a couple of friends and I headed to Auckland Museum where there was a great exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of our awesome airline, Air New Zealand. It was a really neat exhibition, and if you’re in Auckland this summer and it’s still on, do go and check it out.

The exhibition shows the beginnings of Air New Zealand to where it is today, and also what it could look like in the future, using a virtual stimulation type thing, which was way too buzzy for words and I’m continually amazed at technology. Throughout the exhibition, they have these plane cabins, made to look like how they were in various decades over the years, and they have facts about people who worked on the planes and a great photo wall which has Harry Potter-esque talking portraits.

I thought I’d just show you some of the photos I took of some of the things that are there, but I recommend having a look if you live in Auckland are going to be here. Enjoy!
