The BoMoSh may 2017

Welcome to another BoMoSh post!

If you missed last month’s post, then in short, this is a new post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.

Books | 3

  • Flame in the Mist, by Renee Ahdieh
  • The Chemist, by Stephanie Meyer (review coming soon to Blogger’s Bookshelf)
  • Heartless, by Marrisa Meyer (review coming soon!)

Short list of books this month. I think I mentioned in April that I’ve been really busy these past few months with extra projects that I’m not normally a part of. It’s been really good, but it does mean I haven’t had as much time to just sit and read. These books did take me longer than usual to read, therefore, and The Chemist even more so because I couldn’t get into it. Review coming to Blogger’s Bookshelf on Friday if you’re interested in my thoughts.

Movies | 2

  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mean Tell No Tales

Only saw 2 movies in May, both of them in at the cinema and in the last week. Guardians was good too, and for me it didn’t go down hill after the first, like so many series do.

I’ve been a fan of Pirates since the beginning, but, like so many I think, I was a little apprehensive about this 5th movie. But I have to say I really really liked it. That ending! So so perfect! Would have happy if that was it, but with the after credits scene they could definitely make another. Whether they should or not though…

Shows

This month I’ve been watching Doctor WhoOrphan Black Season 4 (thank you Netflix!), the Prison Break reboot (so good!), and re-watching How I Met Your Mother for about the hundredth time. This coming month I’m hoping to watch The 100 (have been waiting for the majority of the episodes to out so I can binge watch), and catching up on Quantico and the Originals, as I’m lagging behind. I also remember today that I need to watch the latest season of Once Upon A Time (having seen that certain characters are leaving!), so hopefully I can watch that too in June.

Read anything good this month? Seen anything worthwhile? Let me know in the comments!
