Happy Homemade Home by A Beautiful Mess review
If you haven’t discovered A Beautiful Mess yet, you’re missing out. Seriously, stop reading this post and go and hang out over there for a while. A long while. Once you’ve realised what you’ve been missing out, please come on back here…yup. Back? Cool.
So the amazing ladies who are the founders of A Beautiful Mess (sisters Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman) wrote a book a few years ago called A Beautiful Mess Photo Idea Book and that is amazing. I love it. You can read more of what I thought of it here.
Last year they released another one, called Happy Handmade Home, and it’s just as awesome as the first one. I pre-ordered a copy, and while it did arrive back at the end of last year sometime, I still love looking at it, and trying some of the ideas out. To be honest I don’t know why it’s taken so long for me to share it with you…ah well. Here it is!

It’s full of great ideas for creating the home you’ve always wanted, in simple, creative steps. There are sections for each room of the house (bedroom, lounge etc), as well as an outdoor section. In and among these are awesome DIYs, and even some recipes! There are some ideas for hosting parties too, including a kid’s party.
Basically, it’s brilliant, and if you want inspiration and creative ideas to create your own handmade home, then you should probably check it out.

Have you had a chance to discover Happy Handmade Home? What did you think?
Disclaimer: Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman did not ask me to write this. It is simply my own opinion on an awesome book.
