goodreads reading challenge 2019

Mission complete! I’ve finished my Goodreads Reading Challenge for 2019!

At the beginning of the year I set myself the goal of reading 50 books throughout the course of 2019, and on September 30th I finished book number 50. I think next year I had better up my goal to 60 because for the past few years I’ve gone past my goal around this time of the year. Last year I managed to read 79 books (due to the fact we read short books for the Blogger’s Bookshelf Book Club, and I got into comics and graphic novels, too), and 50 the year before. With three months still to go on the reading challenge for the year, I thought I’d take opportunity to catch you up on the reviews that I’ve posted here on the blog and also over at Blogger’s Bookshelf.

And that’s just January to October! I’ll do another round up of book reviews come the end of the year, but for know let me know if you’ve read any of these, or suggest a book or two to me that I can read in the coming months. I already have a good pile to check out including Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell, Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, Rules for Vanishing by Kate Alice Marshall, and Full Disclosure by Camryn Garrett.

How’s your reading challenge coming along? What’s been your favourite book so far this year?
