Reese’s Book Club

Reese’s Book Club is a book club founded by none other than the wonderful Reese Witherspoon. It’s a great platform for book lovers as each month Reese selects a book she loves that centres around a woman and shares it with the club members.

The club provides an opportunity to join a community of fellow readers and participate in discussions about the selected book. The other cool thing about it is that you also get to hear from Reese about her thoughts on the book, and sometimes she interviews the author, too.

While it’s big and popular and it may be harder to make bookish friends, it’s a great way to read a broader range of titles and take part in a worldwide club.

The New York Public Library and WNYC Book Club

The New York Public Library and WNYC Book Club is a collaborative book club that brings together the resources and audiences of the New York Public Library and WNYC radio station, which is really cool! I love the fact that they’ve teamed up together for a book club.

Like all online book clubs, joining up is a great way to connect with other readers and engage in thoughtful discussions on important topics. By joining the book club, you get to chat with members of the community about all the cool books you’re reading, as well as attend virtual author talks and throw your name in the hat for book giveaways.

How to join the New York Public Library and WNYC Book Club

Possibly one of the easiest book clubs to join, you simply:

  1. Head to either the New York Public Library book club page on the website
  2. Sign up
  3. Once you sign up, you will receive regular updates on the latest book club picks, discussion questions, and upcoming events

  4. You can also catch the live discussions on  Instagram and Facebook.

Modern Mrs Darcy

The Modern Mrs Darcy Book Club is an online book club founded by blogger and author Anne Bogel in 2012. The club is named after the character Elizabeth Bennet Darcy from Jane Austen’s classic novel “Pride and Prejudice,” in case that wasn’t clear.

This is actually a paid members book club, and it offers a monthly reading selection, with members discussing the book through an online forum and participating in virtual discussions with the author or experts on the book’s topic. In addition to the monthly selection, the club also offers a variety of other reading-related resources and events, such as book recommendations, author interviews, and reading challenges.

The Modern Mrs Darcy Book Club has a large and active community of readers, and it is known for its friendly and supportive vibe. It is a popular choice for readers who are looking for a fun and engaging way to connect with other book lovers and discover new books, and there are tons of reviews from members who rave about it.
