This is a little late getting to you this month, sorry. My excuse is that I exchanged my life in favour of Pokemon Go this past week.

I had a mild frantic panic at the end of this past month. Fandom of the Month Club let’s you choose how often you want to renew your subscription. You can do it every month, every 3 months, or every 6 months. I’m on the 3 month renewal, but June was definitely a tight month for me, money wise. So when July 1st came around and FOTMC needed the money from my account and I didn’t have enough, I freaked out and long story short, I thought I wasn’t going to be able to renew it and there would go at least 1 month of missed subscription box goodness. But, thankfully, I finally got it sorted and all was well.

After that drama, I was excited to see my Courier guy dropped off the little owl-covered box on my door step the other day, and while, again, I knew what the fandom was this month, I had actually forgotten.

‘So what was it, Anjali? Just tell us!’

Okay okay! June’s box was *drum roll* The Wizard of Oz!

You guys know that I love this movie, so it was very cool seeing it in jewellery form. What I also enjoyed about it this month was that Erin at FOTMC went a little old school. While The Wizard of Oz is, indeed, a classic, it’s perhaps not one that everyone would be that excited about. Anyway, here’s what was in the box.

Information card, stash bag, and magnet

Love the magnet this month! Dorothy and Toto will be joining my other magnets on the end of my bookshelf, as will this awesome information card. Love the graphics. (Side bar: If you like the look of the magnet and info card, check out The Half Blood Prints!) The stash bags says

‘We’re off to see the Wizard’ gold necklace

This is so sweet! It’s the classic silhouette of the 4 companions heading off to Oz to see the Wizard. The chain is very short, so I’ll be changing that out for a longer one, but I do really like this.

Yellow Brick Road cuff bracelet

This is cool! Love the brick pattern, and on the inside it says ‘follow the yellow brick road’ in pretty writing. I think I would wear it more if it were thinner in width, but it’s still really neat!

Fabric Earrings

These are so great! One pair is like the ruby red slippers, and the other the blue gingham of Dorothy’s dress. I love them. I’ll probably wear the blue ones more, because I don’t really wear red that much, but I can see them coming in handy for future themed parties etc.

So another cool box from Fandom of the Month Club, for June 2016. Not my favourite box, but still definitely worth it. I’ve heard rumours and whispers that next month/July’s box is going to be Harry Potter themed! Eeep! HP boxes are my favourite! Check out the Death Eaters box earlier this year. My first ever box was also a HP themed one, and there was a neat Potter piece in the November box last year. Looking forward to seeing what’s in July’s box!

Did you get this month’s box? Did you love it?!
