Ohmygoodness I can’t believe how late this post is being published! Sorry, guys! What a month I’ve had. No excuses…November’s Fandom of the Month Club was so so awesome. I mean, every month is awesome, but this month was especially neato burito because it was the month that Erin and the FOTMC team celebrated one whole year of being a subscription box. Instead of just one fandom for the month’s 3-4 items, Erin, the founder/creator chose 5 of her favourite fandoms and included something from each of them in the box! Yes that’s right [she says in an advertising voice], there were 5 items in the box, and a magnet! So so great! Here’s what was in the box:

Fandom of the Month Club Member card, Stash Bag, and Magnet

As per usual, there was a card with their details all on the back, but this month’s was Harry Potter themed. So great. The bag this month had ‘The Fandom of the Month Club 1 Year Anniversary’ written in gold on it, and the magnet reads ‘We are wizards. We are tributes. We are Mazerunners. We are Dragon Riders. We are Kings and Queens. We are Time Lords. We are Divergent. We are Olympians. We are Hunters. We are Generation Fandom’. SO GREAT.

Doctor Who Ring

 

Yay! I love this TARDIS ring and have worn it quite a bit recently. I love it how it’s totally adjustable too, which is something that is occasionally annoying with the FOTMC rings – sometimes they’re too small. Not this one!

Harry Potter mixed charm Bookmark

So awesome! It has the Deathly Hallows symbol with ‘Always’ written inside, a snitch, a lightening bolt and the long bookmark feather bit. So great! I don’t actually use bookmarks, so I might turn it into a necklace. We’ll see.

The Hunger Games keychain

This is so great. It’s quite large too, which is exciting. Now I already have about 10 key chains on my keys, and only 2 keys, only one of which I use. Clearly I need more keys. Or less key chains. Might add this to the collection or put a chain on it and wear it.

Dragon earrings

Oh my goodnes guys. These are the sweetest little dragon earrings ever. They are possibly may favourite piece of this month, and even though I am still unsure of the fandom that Erin was thinking of when she chose them, but my guess would be Eragon (so totally awesome because I love that book series), but it could also be Game of Thrones…or any other fandom with dragons in it. Don’t know. Don’t especially care because dragon earrings. I secretly try and wear these every single day at the moment. So cute!

Lost necklace

I actually am not up to this bit in Lost. I think I’m up to season 3. But this is a Lost reference, and if you can’t see it, the hand says ‘Not Penny’s boat’. I think it’s pretty cool, even if I’m behind on Lost.

So that’s the November/anniversary box done! How great were all these items! I love them all a lot, but especially those earrings!

I’ve heard rumours that next year she may be repeating a few fandoms that she’s already done, but that’s fine and dandy with me!
