The BoMoSh is a post for Books, Movies and Shows. I’ll be sharing what I’ve read and seen in the last month, and I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies. Leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.

Rather pleased with this month’s reading list. Not only did a I read 5.75 books (I decided I was about half way through Lady’s Guide, and about a quarter through Truly Devious at the time of this post going live, so hence the .75), but I managed to read two books on my Vow To Re-Read list that we talk about in Season Two Episode One of Rants and Reviews Podcast. Those two books were the Leigh Bardugo ones, and let me tell you they were just as good the second time around, and I actually can’t wait to re-read Crooked Kingdom which would complete my re-reading of Leigh Budgo’s Grishaverse (minus King of Scars which only came out this year).

Most of these books I was also able to use for crossing off squares on the Penguin NZ Turning Pages Book Bingo sheet.

Both of these movies I saw when I was away, and I didn’t manage to get to the actual movie theatre at all this month. This week I am planning on seeing The Lion King, though so hopefully I can make that happen!

Shows

I finished Season 5 of Younger (what a great show you guys! If you love books then you gotta watch this 20-min rom-com show), started whichever season of Lucifer was released on Netflix ANZ recently, and also watched Stranger Things Season 3. I actually had one more episode to watch of Queer Eye, so I haven’t started the latest season yet, but am hoping to watch it this coming month!
