Welcome to the BoMoSh!

The BoMoSh is a post for Books, Movies and Shows, a post where I share what I’ve read and seen in the last month. I always welcome suggestions for books, shows and movies, so leave me a comment if you think there’s something that I might enjoy.

Books | 5

  • Vicious by VE Schwab (re-read)
  • Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss and Tahl Raj
  • The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa
  • Nottingham by David Hazan (graphic novel)
  • Cheer Up by Crystal Fraiser (graphic novel)

I’m doing really badly on my Goodreads Challenge this year! I’ve been so preoccupied with blog coaching, creating content for Instagram, creating courses, and blogging that I’ve barely had time to read. But! I’m not horrifically disappointed with this month’s list, but I am about 5 books behind scheudule. Oops.

Movies | 6

  • 10 Things I Hate About You
  • The Princess Diaries
  • Ocean’s 8
  • Flypaper
  • St Trinians
  • Cruella
  • Raya and the Last Dragon

Um, hello. Who am I?! If you’ve been around these parts for any length of time then you may know that I don’t watch a lot of movies. Usually, it’s 1 or 2 a month and that’s it, and usually just at the cinema. Apparently, that was not the case in June. With two mini movie marathons, and the release of some exciting new films (thanks, Disney), my viewing bumped up this month by a TON.

Shows

I finally finished Prison Break (I’ve been doing a re-watch this year) which was an absolute joy. What a show! So good. I’m up to Season 9 in my re-watch of Friends, and finally finished WandaVision (I know I know, I’m slow). In July I’m hoping to finish Friends (although it will be a sad day!) and start watched Superstore again – I’ve seen Season 1 but no further – as well as watch The Falcon and the Winter Solider and Loki.

We’ll see how we go.

What have you read and watched this past month?
