One word: Unicorns.
That’s right, friends and fellow geeks: September’s Fandom of the Month Club Box was unicorn themed. While usually Erin at FOTMC and the team send out an actual specific fandom (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars etc), this month they changed it up a little bit and made our boxes sparkles with unicorn magic. And I’m not complaining. Check out what was in the box!
Stash bag, information card and magnet
I am loving this little bag this month. Look at that unicorn’s face! So sweet. The card is super magical too, and has all the information about the subscription box on the reverse. The magnet reads I believe in Unicorns and is lovely addition to my growing wall of FOTMC magnets.
Patch
This is super neat, I’m just not sure what I’m going to do with it. I like the fact that they added something a little different to the box – we don’t usually get patches like this – just not sure where I’ll put it. Perhaps I need a bag to start patching, or a jacket.
Unicorn Horn Keychain
This is magical, and sparkly and I seriously need to stop using keychains. On my keys at the moment I only have three keys, only two of which I use, and about 10 key chains. Now 11 because this one is so neat.
Choker
Love the idea of this, but there’s no way I’ll ever be wearing it. It’s funny how chokers have come back into trend. Bringing back the 90s anyone? Might take the unicorn off and pop it on a chain instead.
Earrings
These are so so cute! They’re like the dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park box, or the dragons from the Anniversary Box last year, but with sparkle. Love them!
Unicorn Ring
I think this my favourite thing in the box this month. I’ve already been wearing it out and had lots of comments on it. So cool! And it fits! Which is something I often struggle with the FOTMC rings, but not this one! Magic!
Verdict for this month? Yeah, unicorns for the win. Can’t say I’ll wear/use all the pieces from this box, but I do love the earrings and the theme overall. Grab your Fandom of the Month Club box here for just $13 USD per month.
